The most exciting sight begins in the park at nightfall, when numerous light bulbs are lit. Daily enchanting light shows are recognized as his trademark. Foros park

This recreational area, according to the Crimeans and guests of the peninsula, has a special energy. The park traces its history back to 1834; representatives of famous Russian noble and merchant families, including the Raevskys, Ushakovs, Kuznetsovs, contributed to its development at different times. The vegetation of the 70-hectare landscape complex is a mix of local and exotic plants brought from America, Asia and Australia.

An ancient palace has been preserved here; today it is owned by the Foros sanatorium (like most of the recreational zone). Massandra park

On the peninsula, 2 objects at once bear this name, which are located in the same area. The first park surrounds the Massandra Palace, the second is located below the Southern Highway, closer to the Donbass sanatorium. Upper Massandra Park is famous for its roses. His heart: a lawn and two large alleys. There is a pool with water lilies on the territory, ancient sculptures are placed, giant sequoias grow.

In the Lower Massandra Park there is a large collection of exotic plants. It is recognized as a monument of national importance and is associated with the history of the Vorontsov princely family. Karalar natural park

The landscape monument occupies more than 6,000 hectares in the northern part of the Kerch Peninsula; it attracts mainly fans of camping. The park covers the coastal zone of the Sea of ​​Azov, it includes a tract and steppes. The unique object consists of 4 parts, the largest of them: nature conservation and recreational. The place does not have a developed infrastructure for mass entertainment. Its main attractions are ancient buildings and "generals' beaches" with well-heated water even in May. There are no sources of fresh water and trees in the Karalar park (exception: Syuyush Tash bay), it is forbidden to kindle fires.

Park "Tarkhankutsky"

The object is located in the western part of the peninsula, where monuments of an ancient civilization dating back to the Neolithic era have been discovered. The Scythians lived here, there was a Greek colony. During the Soviet era, sheep breeding and viticulture were actively developing on the territory. By the beginning of this century, agricultural production fell into decay, tourism, work in shell quarries turned out to be the main sources of income in Tarkhankut.

The National Natural Park is open to the public free of charge. On its territory there are 4 types of routes of various lengths: walking, cycling, automobile, sea. "Tarkhankutsky" includes the landscape and recreational park "Atlesh". The natural monument invariably attracts the attention of fans of tourism and camping. Environmental education events for schoolchildren are regularly held at Tarkhankut.

Botanical reserve "New World"

The attraction is located near the village of the same name. The nature reserve dates back to 1974, but the area acquired its special status much earlier. "Novy Svet" occupies the coast of 3 bays, its visit is paid. On the territory you can see rare species of pines, junipers, orchids, tulips, crocuses. The main natural monuments of the reserve: mountains, rocks, grottoes. Many representatives of the flora that grow here are not found anywhere else on Earth.

Catherine garden

A park of culture with this name operates in Simferopol.The object in the central part of the city was founded more than 200 years ago, following the model of English gardens. Later, a summer theater and a restaurant were built on its territory, and a monument to Catherine the Great was erected. In Soviet times, the figure of the empress was removed. The result of numerous transformations was the reduction of the area of ​​the unique garden. The first wave of its reconstruction in the new century led to the fact that the park began to resemble a swamp.

Relatively recently, the situation was corrected, a new monument to the Empress and her loyal companions was erected on the territory. Of the old attractions of the garden (admission is free), only the fountain has survived. There are areas for quiet and active recreation, a giant chess playground, and many flower beds.
